Winter 2013 in Maine has been unseasonably mild. Fortunately, for me (and my hubby and a few other Mainah's I'm sure), we do not mind the warm weather. Bring on the global warming here in the northeast!!! 'Makes working on the farm easier' says, Hubby. We did get a few very heavy snowstorms however, so I took the opportunity to photograph a bit when I wasn't working my day job. Take a peak~
Now check out those icicles!!!!
Mumsi & I took a walk through town snapping pics. This day was warming up quickly and despite the snow, we heard birds chirping. Look what my little eye spied up in this tree.... see that little tiny red spot against the sky?
My new canon sx50 has a fabulous zoom... so you can see what I spied, when my camera zoomed in from the same spot as the previous image was taken. Pretty neat huh!?!
As Mumsi & I were getting ready to head back, I heard a 'quack'! Actually much quacking.... we traipsed over to this bridge to check it out...
Wait...! Is this duck smiling?!?
I liked that I got our shadows on the bridge.
One of the last photos I took on our walk was this cute little camper...I mean really S'WEET! ...couldn't resist.
